Video calls have become an integral part of our communication. Modern smartphones cope with this task quite well, but they are far from the functionality of the “PC + webcam” bundle. As a rule, cameras or webcams built into a laptop do not give the best picture quality for affordable money. And for video conferencing or streaming, this is extremely important.
Use Your Phone as a Webcam
The futuristic phrase “augmented reality” means an already quite common thing: electronic gadgets allow you to see information invisible to the naked eye in surrounding objects. Typical examples are Junaio and Layar applications for the Android operating system. Both apps use a GPS receiver to determine your position and overlay useful information directly onto the image captured by your camera.
Just point the camera of your smartphone at buildings or objects around you on the street – and you will see shortcuts-tips where shops, ATMs, or cafes are located. Indeed, the User Account Control option can be annoying with constant pop-up messages, especially for those users who are not very concerned about security. All Windows operating systems have a built-in “Task Manager” process manager that allows you to forcefully stop the work of processes and programs. But its functionality is sometimes not enough. Users often encounter the fact that when they click the “End task” button (or when they press the “Delete” key) in the “Task Manager”, the process being stopped remains “hanging” in the computer’s memory.
Another drawback of the standard manager is the lack of a process detection function by an open window. And such a function would make it possible to effectively deal with programs that “do not want” to be closed (usually this refers to various adware/malware). Let’s take a look at the most popular programs that specialize in the forced shutdown of running processes.
The Flickerless image option should only be used in the presence of flickering light (such as fluorescent or neon lights) to eliminate flickering or incorrect colors in the video image. Using this option under normal lighting conditions may result in overexposure of the video image.
